Craft your life as a work of art.
Regardless of the current mess you might be in or whatever else might be causing you distress, set the bar high and then tear after it. Don’t let anything hold you back.
Life is always going to be messy. Just accept it. All manner of difficulty and many people are going to get in the way. And some of those people might even be you.
Accept the reality that obstacles will never cease and vow to always press ahead regardless. By pursuing what you know is right, circumstances will eventually have a way of correcting themselves.
Think about it, what better way could there be to live each day than working towards your ideal self? And way back in the recesses of your mind there is an ideal, isn’t there? No matter how much at this point you may have been diverted, deep down you know how you should be living your life.
You do have a Life’s Destiny.
And this undeniable destiny is to become the very best man you can be, in whatever form that might take specific to your God given nature. Deep in your core, deep in your Soul you know how you should be living your life.
Have the courage to let it all hang out for once. Or as my father used to say, play the damn game with total abandon. Go for it.
Get angry with yourself if you have to. Or get angry at life. Whatever works for you is all that matters.
Doing the right things, even for the wrong reasons is still a good thing. Doing the right things will eventually have a curative effect and put you on the right plane of being.
So put a great plan together and get started.
Even if the ultimate goal is unclear, how you should be conducting yourself each day is undeniable. Be honest. There is indeed a higher level of behavior to be had—right now.
You can do more. You can manifest the energy. And you can conduct yourself at a higher level.
Start simply by removing the shallow distractions from your life. If not all at once, then pare away over time. You must start somewhere. Start with what you can. Shed some unnecessary habits. Lighten the load. Remove some resistance and develop some momentum.
As you get going, it will become easier and easier to dial in and lean yourself out from the negatives that are holding you back and making you weak. Make it your goal to eventually stop doing everything you know is unhelpful in your life, even the little things.
Clear a path so that you can develop all the positive energy you need. Remove anything that will dull your edge as you begin to cut through each day with a vengeance.
And then in parallel and with total abandon, start taking Right Action. Pull the trigger and begin doing what you know you should be doing. Sharpen your edge.
Action will lead to more action and then action will lead to inspiration. Momentum will become your ally and then the fog of life will begin to lift.
Conducting yourself as you know you should, will lead to clarity and it is then that you will begin to craft the specifics.
Design your life explicitly. And design it with all the God given potential that lies within. Step outside of yourself and consider what the Creator in all His benevolence would want for you. And then write it all down.
Imagine what you could become and what you could achieve if you tapped into your true inherent potential. You know it’s in there. Don’t hide from yourself. Every man of sound mind has personal greatness within. Accept the responsibility and create your new reality.
The process to do so is thoughts, words and then actions. Start carving away and get specific.
Open up your mind and create your ideal day and the ideal you. Besides your tangible achievements, it should also include your state of mind. There should be happiness, peace, energy and verve.
Imagine where you would like to live, your finances and the state of your home. Think of your woman and children and how they will think of you as you live each day with passion and precision while also leading them to new heights.
And imagine as well walking around enjoying your own company; taking pleasure in the weight of your character and all the growth still to come. Yes indeed, life is good but you’ve only just started—these people have no idea who they’re dealing with.
Take all of these thoughts and then write them down in some fashion. Be bold. Scare yourself a little. Keep it a secret if you have to. But put a draft down on paper that will light your life on fire.
There is something to be said about putting ones thoughts, goals and aspirations on paper. They become more real in a sense. You’ve taken them outside of your mind and put them into the concrete world. It is a fantastic method for clarifying who it is that you wish to become.
Part of the reason I publish this website is to sharpen my own axe—to specifically articulate who it is I am, what I believe and where I want to go. Putting thoughts to words is indeed a very powerful exercise.
So take some time on a regular basis to write down who you are, who you are to become and what you will achieve. Write these things down and then read the words out loud. This is another step in adding concreteness to your thoughts and reprogramming your mind; another step in creating your new reality.
And then start taking action—Right Action, based on your thoughts and words. Start simply if you must, but roll the ball forward every day. Commit to No More Zero Days and imagine where you will be in three years. The time will pass anyway.
Roll this cycle over and over again—thoughts, words, actions. Keep working it day in and day out until you become unstoppable; until you begin to bend reality to your will.
Until your thoughts and reality become one and the same.
Imagine what could happen if you commit to yourself like your life depended on it and regardless what happens you just don’t stop—no matter how hard or nasty things get, who disappoints you and whatever setbacks or doubts you might have, as a matter of principle you just keep pressing on.
After all, your life is on the line here. It’s do or die time. And the bottom line is you’re going keep on pursuing your agenda come hell or high water. You will not stop.
In fact, you might even use the difficulties and struggles that keep on popping up as fuel for the fire. Every time something occurs that would normally knock you off your feet, you decide to dig in even harder. You will become like heat treated steel and the fire will only make you stronger.
Develop into a better man and achieve. There is nothing else. There is nothing else because in the end, this is what will provide you with all the answers. This is what will take you the Promised Land. You have the faith.
What better pursuit could there be? What else is there at some point? The answer for both is nothing.
So keep on, keeping on and you will begin to transform yourself. Mentally, physically and financially you eventually become twice the man. But you’re not done. Not by a long shot because at some point, the magic will begin to happen.
I call it bending reality or tipping the natural order in your favor. “New Thought” people would call it the Law of Attraction. Whatever you call it, it will begin to occur in your life. Count on it.
As you become twice and then three times the man and you begin to function on a whole other level and then a whole other level after that, circumstances will start lining up in your favor. Almost as if guided by hand or Providence, order and serendipity will begin to manifest themselves in your life.
Really good things will begin to happen. Powerful momentum and fantastic results will accrue and it will become like a self-fulfilling prophecy. This is good. But then it will get even better.
Because one day it will all change. You will see with a clarity like never before. You will stop in your tracks and then stand there aghast because a thought or event will occur that will bring to light unforeseen possibilities.
Right out of the blue, an opportunity or idea will present itself that will change it all. It will be something completely outside of your former level of thinking. And it will dawn on you that you will soon ascend to a level beyond your imagination.
So get started, craft your life like a work of art and tear after it with total abandon.
All the best,
