Are you fed up with yourself yet?
Have you burned off enough of your life sitting on your ass in front of the television unmotivated, stuffing your face and slamming beers? Have you tired of watching other men live their lives and compete for glory?
If not, then feel free to spend as much time as it takes parked on the couch, eating and drinking your fill, until you are fed up.
Enjoy the ride as you get softer, weaker, less virile and kill off more of your brain cells.
In the meantime, have a look down at your gut and then think back to what you looked and felt like in your prime. Think about the ambition and drive you used to have. And then think as well about how your woman used to look at you back in the day.
How about getting back to that physical and mental state of well being once again? Would it be worth it? Are you angry enough at yourself yet to make a life changing decision and finally pursue personal greatness?
Make a man’s decision and go hardcore. Get back to your physical prime and get your ass back on track.
Don’t pussyfoot around, lay down the gauntlet. Bring the hammer down and get excited about your God given potential once again. Begin the process of a jaw dropping transformation.
Quit these three things:
- Quit Television
- Quit Eating All the Time
- Quit Drinking
Wipe the slate clean. Turn your habits upside down. Turn some tables over in anger. Clear a path and start from scratch. Go hardcore.
Clear out your mind, cleanse your body and dump the poison. Give yourself a fighting chance. Quit hiding through diversion and re-center your life—Reclaim Yourself.
How much more of your life are you going to waste in front of the television? How many more crime dramas or half hour comedy shows do you need to watch? Personally I can’t think of a bigger waste of time.
Think about the process for a moment. Hours of your life each day are spent sitting passively watching pretend stories or watching other grown men compete in sports. And the whole process is geared to sell you products and services and make other people richer.
This is no way for a man to live. This is not a masculine existence.
Imagine what you could become and what you could accomplish if all that time was spent productively. Separate yourself from the masses. Eliminate your cable subscription. It will do you, your woman and children a huge service.
Besides whatever else you would like to do, begin reading every day. Make purposeful and active learning a new constant in your life. For a pittance, the world’s experts are all available to you like no other time in history. Be smart and leverage that expertise.
Keep your television and some sort of portal for the occasional steaming of a weekend movie or special event. But make this the exception rather than the rule.
Eliminating television from your life is the simplest step you can take to begin an exceptional personal transformation. It will put a stop to mindless diversion and force you to face up to your life and where you want to take it.
Make this decision and you will never regret it.
Quit Eating All the Time
Another bad habit we have here in the West is that we are always eating. Affluence has led to gluttony. Food is so plentiful and so inexpensive, that for most of us it has become an unhealthy pastime and another empty diversion.
As humans we did not evolve to eat as we do today. The vast majority of our evolutionary history was as hunter gatherers. And as such, for the most part we ate once a day and we ate Paleo.
Eating Paleo essentially means consuming meat, vegetables, eggs, nuts and fruit. It also means no grains and no refined sugar.
If you consider the human evolutionary timeline as equivalent to 1 year, we’ve been eating grains for about 1 day. And in today’s modern world grains have become highly refined and generally make up the majority of our caloric intake.
Once digested, grains such as bread, pasta, rice and corn are metabolized into glucose. In short, they turn into sugar in the bloodstream. This, along with all the refined added sugars in our modern diet, places our metabolism under constant unnatural duress.
Mix in the standard 3 meals a day plus mid-morning, mid-afternoon and evening snacks and the results are obvious.
Once again, separate yourself from the masses and take the path less traveled—stop eating all the time.
Be smart and go Paleo. Do not eat after dinner and skip breakfast. Doing this will mean fasting for 16 hours per day. If dinner is done by 7pm and you have an early lunch at 11am the next day, you’ve gone 16 hours without eating. Done.
Give your metabolism a break from constantly digesting sugars and food. And give your body a break at the cellular level to cleanse itself. You won’t starve and you are not really hungry. This is just habit and an addiction to sugar, nothing more.
Following this simple regimen will convert you from a sugar burner to a fat burner and it will be the best thing you can do for your health and energy level.
Getting off sugar and fasting every day will raise your testosterone, HGH (human growth hormone) and adrenaline levels. Right there should be reason enough. Physiologically you will become twice the man.
Fasting and Paleo will also take you out of the glucose-insulin cycle that requires constant eating for energy and focus—you will burn fat instead of sugar, remaining ambitious and focused all day long. In other words, not eating all the time will make it easier to not eat all the time.
It will also add a defining level of discipline to your life and peace of mind as you begin to live according to your evolutionary programming. Self-denial will set you free.
This is another decision you will never regret. Gut it out for a couple of weeks and it will soon become easy. Casting aside the constant temptation to eat will become the best decision you’ve ever made for your health and vitality.
At first, alcohol is a great diversion. It’s a blast to get together with friends, have a few drinks and blow off some steam. No doubt many a good time has been had with friends, women and beer.
But let’s be honest, after a while it becomes a bad habit—a crutch. Even for those of us who don’t have a “problem” with alcohol; over time what was at first just some good times can become a burden in our development as men. Eventually it will begin to hold you back as you get sucked in to a cycle of regular consumption.
Physiologically, with every drink you are killing brain cells. Right there is reason enough to quit. You are also consuming completely unnecessary excess calories replete with refined sugar. And for the reasons discussed above regarding Fasting and Paleo, you now know this is very unhealthy and contrary to your development as a red blooded male.
Alcohol will lower your testosterone, HGH and adrenaline levels. It will also add body fat and raise your estrogen levels. This is not good if you enjoy your masculinity. It is a path to become the average overweight, unmotivated and low testosterone western male who now requires ED pills to get the job done.
The words “Sloth” and “Sloppy” come to mind. This is what sitting in front of the television, drinking beer and eating pizza will lead to.
This is no way for a man to live.
Substitute weight lifting and high intensity training (HIT) for alcohol. Go 100% in the opposite direction of the old you. You don’t need to become a bodybuilder or endurance athlete, but in six months you can completely transform your physique.
Lifting and HIT will substantially raise your testosterone levels and completely change your mindset for the better. You will carry yourself with swagger and verve. They will also lay the foundation for a jaw dropping transformation and send a clear message to your woman you are back on top of your game.
Clear a Path
Do yourself a favor and clear a path: quit television, quit eating all the time and quit drinking.
Unshackle yourself from three bad habits that will kill a man’s potential.
There is no need to forget. No need for diversion. These will only serve to put off the inevitable. And they will make it harder and harder to get back on track.
Make a commitment to embrace your reality right now. Go cold turkey.
You’ll open up a huge hole in your life and be forced to find positive alternatives.
Let the compounding positive actions of reading, eating correctly and masculine physical exercise work its magic over time. Allow yourself some time to create momentum and focus.
Make the decision to go hardcore and you will become twice the man overnight.
