Accept and embrace the idea that You Can Do More.
Change your thinking about what you need to do, from obligation to opportunity. Consider each day that your feet hit the floor as a chance to get better. See yourself as the raw potential of divine origin. And then endeavor to reveal the personal greatness that lies within.
There is no question in my view that if you are of sound mind, then you were born with exceptional potential. But it’s your responsibility and yours alone to pare away until your innate greatness is revealed.
It will take some serious and concerted effort to realize this potential, but there is nothing more worthwhile that a man can do; you will never regret the effort—never. The same cannot be said, however, if you choose instead to take the easy path. Man up and choose the hard path.
Thank the Creator that you live in a part of the world and in a time when this is possible; when a man can actually consider pursuing excellence, rather than just survival. If you are reading these words now, then you are one of these men. Never has so much opportunity, knowledge and upward mobility been available. Sadly, few will realize this.
But no one said it was going to be easy. Nothing worthwhile is on this planet. This is simply the natural order.
Start by taking Right Action in all that you do and Carry Yourself with Energy and Verve. This is how man should conduct himself. And this is how a man will begin to pull away from his old habits and then begin to change his destiny.
Of course, everyday life involves much that is simply routine and sometimes unpleasant or difficult. Accept this as reality. It’s just the way it is. It’s the same for everyone. But then commit to rise above it all and execute at a higher level. This is what will create the separation you are looking for.
There is no question at all you can control your perception and attitude towards events, circumstances and actions. This is extremely important. Control your perception and control your feelings, toughen up and smarten up.
Consider everything you have to do each day as the most important thing you can be doing right at that moment; be it pleasant or unpleasant. And then do it well. Make it a core principle to do everything as best as you can. Do it all with vigor and style, no matter what it is.
Enjoy yourself. This is a choice you can make. The only one stopping you is you. So get out of your own way. Live in the present moment and do everything at the highest level. This will be innately rewarding and be part of the fuel that propels you forward and upward.
We’ve all seen other people who genuinely enjoy themselves as they go about their day. And they will consistently do so. They always seem to have all kinds of energy and a great attitude. This is a choice they have made. And it’s time to make the same damn choice yourself.
If you’re tired of being tired, then flip the script. Train your mind by telling it each day what it needs to hear. You can rise above it all, you can perform at a very high level, you can enjoy yourself and you can become better; and then better still.
After all, what’s the alternative? To slumber through your responsibilities and then drag yourself home and complain to your woman? This is no way to live. This is no way to spend each day. This is not what your woman and children want to see. This is not how you want to live. This is not your Life’s Destiny.
No, your Life’s Destiny is to become the very best you can be—after all, this is why you are reading these words here today.
Committing to your Life’s Destiny each day by pursuing a Mission of Virtue, Excellence and Quality, for example, will add meaning and purpose to each waking moment. Combining this with a specific and written Life Vision for what you wish to accomplish will light a fire under you like nothing else can.
Double down and decide to get deadly serious while you’re at it. Consider your life on the line. Make a decision to Go Hardcore and Become Twice the Man Overnight: quit television, quit alcohol and quit eating all the time.
Don’t tell me you’re already too busy if you spend your evenings and weekends watching television with a beer in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other.
And don’t tell me as well that you deserve the rest. Resting more than one day a week is simply an excuse to hide from your responsibilities and your potential. If you’re focused, driven and excited about where you are headed your woman will have to start yelling and crying to get you to take a day off.
Consider this “yelling and crying” the litmus test for your level of self-commitment. Are you half in or all in? Every day should be another exciting opportunity in your quest to become an undeniable Force of Nature.
Self-management and rest are indeed important, but cut the cord and quit the stupid television, quit drinking as a habit and get off the Standard American Diet. The former is a complete waste of time and the latter two are slowing you down, making you weak and leading you to an early grave.

You are going to want to be in optimal physical condition and be alert and energized all day, every day. Reaching your prime weight, maintaining functional fitness and eating according to our evolutionary nature (Paleo) will set your physical nature in the proper order and prime you for success.
And dropping the time killers of television and alcohol will free you up by definition. You will simply have more hours in the day to achieve the glory that awaits you.
Glory is the operative word here gentlemen and I don’t use it lightly.
Any man that pursues his very best like his life depended on it, is the purest definition of glory; no matter where he is in his development; no matter whether anyone is noticing or not.
We are not playing games here. This is your life we are talking about—a life that was and is divinely inspired.
To take that inspiration, that Spark of Greatness, and run with it is the best a man could ever do. There is no higher calling. Apply that calling to make the world a better place by becoming the very best you can be and you can’t go wrong.
There is no better way to justify your life and achieve the glory that is your birthright.
So let’s review:
Consider each new day as pure opportunity. And be grateful for that opportunity, for you are one of the lucky ones.
Rise above the frustrations and challenges that we will all have to inevitably face, by deliberately controlling your perceptions and emotions. Master your state of mind.
Drop the shallow distractions of television, alcohol and food. Eat right and get yourself fit.
And specifically design your future through a Life Mission and Life Vision and then get to work.
You Can Do More.
All the best,
